In this full time position, you will lead cutting-edge recreation initiatives focusing on children and youth with disabilities, including those who are Deaf or hard of hearing. You will report to the Program Manager and support a team of Recreation Assistants and volunteers. Your impact will resonate through daily programming and ongoing support to enhance participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and evaluate diverse programs for all abilities
• Direct and coach staff and volunteers for effective support
• Assist in recruiting and training staff and volunteers




• Partner with families and community to promote programs
• Maintain thorough records and handle client registrations
Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation Studies or related discipline
• 2 years of experience with diverse groups in leadership roles
• Understanding of accessible sports and personal care needs
• Solid public speaking and communication skills
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle beneficial
