AECOM is looking for motivated individuals to fill Archaeology Field Technician positions ranging from Levels I to IV, based in London, Barrie, Peterborough, Sault St. Marie, Mississauga, or Hamilton. Technicians will assist in critical archaeological fieldwork under a Field Supervisor’s guidance, which includes the recovery of artifacts and thorough documentation of findings. The role requires adaptability to travel across Ontario and work in diverse weather conditions, while adhering to health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archaeological field operations under supervision
• Identify and recover significant artifacts accurately
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Travel across Ontario for extended fieldwork periods
• Help lead and train junior team members
Requirements:
• High school diploma with relevant experience for Level II+
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation to various project locations

• Solid communication skills and timeliness
