Advantage Accounting is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our in-office team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals currently working in a public accounting firm who are ready to take the next step in their career.
What you'll bring
- CPA designation (required)
- 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
- Strong expertise in T1 personal tax returns (high -net-worth, professionals, self-employed)
- Experience with cross-border and U.S. tax filings (1040, 1040NR, FBAR) is an asset
- Excellent analytical, written, and client-facing communication skills
What you'll do
- Prepare and review Canadian and U.S. personal tax returns
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies
- Communicate directly with clients and tax authorities
- Mentor and support junior staff during peak season
