About this Opportunity

Assess, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries for athletes ranging from community to elite and varsity levels at the University of Guelph Health and Performance Centre. Role includes on-field coverage for OUA varsity, elite, and community teams.

Compensation $85,000–$120,000 with full benefits. August start date.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries across ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide education on injury prevention
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals

- Develop partnerships with campus stakeholders
- Support varsity training camps in August/September

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
- Current independent registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 1 year experience as a sports physiotherapist and/or on-field sports trainer




- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable providing field coverage
- Sport First Responder certification (required before providing sport coverage)
- Sport certificate or diploma (asset)
- AIM Level courses (asset)
- Concussion courses and experience (asset)
