We are looking for reliable and hardworking General Labour Associates to join a cigar warehouse in Manitoba for a 2–3 month contract assignment.
The successful candidates will assist with various warehouse duties, including sorting, labeling, organizing, moving products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
The contract may be extended beyond 3 months depending on operational requirements, workload, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties in a cigar warehouse environment
- Sort, label, organize, and move products as required
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Pick, pack, and stage products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory-related tasks and counting products
- Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with good attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willing to perform different warehouse tasks as required
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Schedule & Contract Details
Duration: 2–3 month contract
Potential Extension: May be extended based on workload, operational requirements, and performance
Schedule: Monday to Thursday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 32 hours
Pay: $19.50/hour
