About HACKNEY NINE

HACKNEY NINE is a Vancouver-based, independently owned jewellery & crafted goods brand known for its affordable-luxe designs and exceptional value. With a growing network of retail partners across Canada, we are looking for a motivated wholesale sales professional to help strengthen existing relationships and introduce our collections to new independent retailers.

The opportunity

This flexible, part-time hybrid role combines working from home with time in our office. Your focus will be simple: maximize sales from our existing wholesale accounts while bringing new retail buyers into the HACKNEY NINE family.

You will build genuine relationships with store owners and buyers, understand their customers, and help them select products that sell.

What you’ll do

- Grow sales from existing wholesale accounts through regular communication, product recommendations, and timely follow-ups.
- Encourage repeat orders by identifying replenishment needs, introducing new collections, and highlighting bestselling styles.
- Identify and approach prospective retail partners, including independent boutiques, gift shops, fashion retailers, and specialty stores.
- Contact buyers by phone and email to introduce the brand and develop new business.
- Reconnect with inactive accounts and identify opportunities to restart or expand their orders.
- Help retailers build assortments that suit their customers, price points, and store environment.




- Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, leads, orders, and follow-up activities.
- Support seasonal sales initiatives, product launches, and occasional trade shows or buyer meetings.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape our wholesale strategy.

What you bring

- Previous experience in sales & customer relations.
- Confidence speaking with store owners and buyers by email & phone.
- A genuine interest in jewellery, fashion, accessories, or independent retail.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to work independently.
- A personable, skilled approach to building long-term customer relationships.
- The initiative to identify opportunities and the persistence to turn conversations into sales.
- Existing relationships with independent retailers are an asset.
