We are currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator for a full-time position in a freezer/cold-storage environment in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment, including Raymond Reach, Dockstocker, Counterbalance, and Walkie. Experience operating a Swing Reach forklift is an asset but is not required, as training can be provided to the right candidate.
Because this is a full-shift freezer position, previous experience working in a freezer or cold-storage workplace is required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Raymond Reach, Dockstocker, Counterbalance, and Walkie equipment
- Move, load, unload, and store products throughout the warehouse
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in narrow aisles and storage areas
- Perform order picking and put-away as required
- Work safely in a freezer/cold-storage environment for the duration of the shift
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate inventory and product handling practices
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Perform other warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse forklift experience is required
- Hands-on experience with:
- Raymond Reach
- Dockstocker
- Counterbalance
- Walkie
- Previous freezer/cold-storage experience is required
- Swing Reach experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work a full shift in a freezer environment
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift and move products as required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid forklift certification is an asset
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Available Shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Full-time position with consistent hours.
