Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and regulations. Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and gasfitting systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble plumbing and HVAC components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, piping systems, HVAC units, and related mechanical equipment
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper assembly of piping systems using carpentry skills when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes to ensure a secure work environment at all times
- Document work performed through detailed reports,



including schematics updates and maintenance logs

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyman/Woman Plumber or Gasfitter certification recognized by local regulatory authorities
- Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, or construction environments with a focus on mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related machinery
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, calculations, and system layouts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or confined spaces as required
- Knowledge of schematics assembly, welding techniques, and troubleshooting mechanical issues is highly desirable
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $36.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
