We're seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a mother who lives with her daughter and son-in-law, both of whom work from home. She's experiencing memory changes and needs assistance with daily activities. She would benefit from companionship as she seems lonely at times.
The family is looking for respite care to help balance their caregiving responsibilities with their work commitments.
Responsibilities
Provide mobility support including assistance with walking and transfers
Help with bathing and dressing
Manage medication reminders and assistance
Offer memory prompts and gentle redirection as needed
Provide companionship and engaging conversation
Ensure safety throughout the day
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting seniors with mobility challenges and transfer assistance
Comfortable providing personal care including bathing support
Patient and calm demeanor when working with memory changes
Ability to provide medication reminders
Strong companionship skills to help reduce feelings of loneliness
English speaking
Reliable and communicative with the family
