The ideal candidate is a proactive fixer who excels at diagnosing mechanical failures before they cause downtime. You will be responsible for ensuring that all automated material handling equipment and facility infrastructure run at peak efficiency.Position: MillwrightLocation: Brantford/ParisPayrate: $45-52Shift: Continental RotationsBenefitsCompetitive hourly rate based on experience.Annual tool and safety footwear allowance.Full benefits package (Health, Dental, Life Insurance).Paid training and opportunities for cross-functional skill development.ResponsibilitiesMechanical Troubleshooting: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment including high-speed conveyors, automated sortation systems, gearboxes, and drive chains.Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Maintain and repair hydraulic dock levelers, pneumatic actuators, and air compressors.Welding & Fabrication: Perform onsite welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and basic machining to repair or modify equipment components as needed.Predictive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, vibration analysis, and lubrication schedules to extend the life of critical machinery.System Installations: Assist in the assembly, leveling, and alignment of new machinery and equipment upgrades.Collaboration: Work closely with the electrical team to solve complex multi-disciplinary equipment issues.Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict sanitation and 'Clean-In-Place' protocols when working in temperature-controlled or food-grade storage areas.QualificationsValid Ontario Certificate of Qualification (C of Q)
