We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician at the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year level to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects mostly at the Edmonton International Airport. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems with precision and efficiency.
We are seeking an individual who is skilled in pipe bending. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical infrastructure across various sites. This position is paid and designed for individuals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting.
Must be able to pass a security background check.
Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks
- Work with low voltage systems, including fire alarm, communication wiring, and control panels
- Utilize construction experience to assist in the setup of electrical infrastructure during new builds or renovations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or completion of a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Proven commercial electrician experience with a robust understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading for electrical installations
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings effectively
