Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled 3rd to 5th-year apprentice to join our team for new commercial and industrial electrical projects. This paid apprenticeship offers a dynamic environment where you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned electricians on large-scale construction sites. You will develop your skills in electrical installation, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting, contributing to vital infrastructure projects that power communities and industries.

Duties

- Assist with the installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings, following blueprints and schematics accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation
- Support the setup and connection of low voltage systems such as data, security, or fire alarm wiring
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform system testing




- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

- Current enrollment in or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program (3rd to 5th year)
- Proven industrial electrician experience or construction experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment
- Robust understanding of electrical systems, including wiring methods and circuit components
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction setting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times
