The Account Manager, HR Services is a newly created role responsible for driving business growth and managing key client relationships within HR Services. The Account Manager will identify and secure new business opportunities, cultivate existing client relationships, and contribute to revenue and profit growth across the service portfolio.
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, and working within a collaborative, team-oriented environment, the Account Manager will leverage their business acumen, relationship-building skills, and consultative approach to expand market presence, generate new opportunities, and deepen client engagement.
The primary focus of the role will be generating new revenue through proactive business development activities. This includes leveraging an established professional network, identifying and qualifying prospective clients, developing strategic solutions, and successfully converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
The Account
Manager will also participate in the development of bids & proposals, presentations, and service agreements, and will lead negotiations through to contract execution.
In addition, the Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to an existing portfolio of clients,
ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for service expansion, and supporting long-term account growth and retention.
This hybrid position combines office-based work, remote work from a dedicated home office, and regular travel for client meetings, site visits, trade shows, industry events, conferences, and other business development activities.

What you will bring:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- Senior level experience in business development, sales, account management, or client relationship management
- Experience selling professional services, HR services, or business solutions preferred
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving revenue targets
- Experience developing proposals, presentations, and service agreements
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges and align solutions to business needs
- Highly self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
- Effective organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, industry events, and conferences
- Ability to maintain a dedicated and professional home office environment
