We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Prepare and analayse working papers on various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Working knowledge to use accounting software such as Acomba and Caseware for year end file preparation.
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with others to provide financial insights that support operational decisions.
- Strong knowledge of the accounting processes.
- Experience with accounting software, particularly Caseware.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account analysis effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
