Position Information The Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence serves as a provincial hub for expertise, innovation, and operational excellence in digital health. By supporting the implementation and optimization of eConsult services across Ontario, the Centre helps connect healthcare providers to specialist advice, improving access to care and supporting better patient outcomes.

Reporting to the Manager of the eConsult Centre of Excellence, the Advisor provides operational, analytical, and coordination support for initiatives and activities within the Centre of Excellence. The Advisor collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders to support program objectives, operational priorities, service improvements, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities may include stakeholder engagement, communications, process improvement, data analysis, reporting, project support, and other activities that contribute to the effective delivery and ongoing evolution of digital health services.



This role supports Ontario Health-funded initiatives and organizational priorities while identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve service delivery, and achieve program objectives.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts

Basic Requirements

- Four (4) year Undergraduate Degree in Healthcare admin, Business Admin or related discipline;
- Three (3) years of experience in a progressive role with increasing responsibility including managing projects;
- Experience in project management and/or quality improvement methodologies, including proficiency using software including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access, and Power BI.;
- Experience in digital health and enabling technology strategy implementation and planning;
- Excellent relationship building, facilitation, collaboration, engagement skills;
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where the information is difficult to obtain , complex or ambiguous;
- Knowledge and ability to facilitate meetings, conduct effective briefings and presentations;
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to change;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and self direction.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Healthcare admin, Business Admin or related discipline;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or actively working toward a recognized project management certification.
- Strong understanding of provincial health care environment, funding methodologies, policies and processes;
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced)



and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).

The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills.
