After-School Program Driver / Child Transportation Assistant

Master Iacobucci's MuDo Academy — Caledon, Ontario

$25–$30 per hour | Part-time | Monday to Friday | Afternoons

Master Iacobucci's MuDo Academy is looking for a reliable, responsible and safety-conscious driver to join our team and assist with our established After-School Program.

The primary responsibility is to pick up children from designated local schools and safely transport them to MuDo Academy in Caledon, where they will participate in our supervised After-School Program.

This is an excellent prospect for someone looking for consistent part-time weekday afternoon employment.

Compensation

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will use their own reliable vehicle for school pickups and transportation.

Fuel and vehicle expenses are not reimbursed separately.

Schedule

Monday to Friday

Approximately 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The primary driving responsibilities take place during the school dismissal and transportation period.

We are looking for someone who can provide consistent availability during these hours. Candidates who are not available every weekday are welcome to indicate which days they are available when applying.

Responsibilities

- Pick up children from designated local schools
- Safely transport children to MuDo Academy
- Ensure children safely transition into the After-School Program
- Maintain a calm, respectful and positive environment while transporting children
- Follow established transportation and safety procedures




- Communicate promptly with MuDo Academy regarding any delays, concerns or changes
- Maintain a professional and dependable approach at all times

- Responsible and mature
- Professional and courteous
- Comfortable following established procedures
- Comfortable working independently
- Looking for consistent part-time afternoon work

Previous experience working with children is an asset. Experience as a school-bus driver, childcare worker, educational assistant, ECE, teacher, coach, camp counsellor, nanny or similar child-focused position is also an asset.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for safely transporting children
- Safe driving history
- Satisfactory driver's abstract
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to meet applicable employer and insurance requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada





Important — This Is Not a Household Nanny Position This position is specifically focused on school transportation and the transition of children into MuDo Academy's supervised After-School Program.

There are

- No household cleaning duties
- No cooking
- No live-in requirements
- No household errands

The successful candidate will be working as part of the MuDo Academy team.
