Sharbot Lake Inn & The Crossing Pub is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team in a variety of roles including front-of-house service, kitchen operations, and inn housekeeping!

Whether you're greeting guests, serving food and drinks, preparing meals, or ensuring our rooms are clean and welcoming, you’ll be part of a fun, supportive team in one of Sharbot Lake’s most popular year-round destinations. We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a shared passion for great hospitality. We use a modern POS system to manage orders and payments efficiently, so comfort with basic technology is a plus. Training will be provided for new staff.

Now hiring:

- Servers / Bartenders – Deliver excellent customer service, take orders, serve food and beverages (including alcohol), and help maintain a clean, inviting dining space. Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality and enjoy interacting with guests.
- Kitchen Support / Line Cooks – Assist with food prep, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and help deliver high-quality dishes during peak hours. A great opportunity to learn and grow in a kitchen environment.
- Housekeeping / Inn Staff – Support our accommodation services with room cleaning, guest assistance, and maintaining a welcoming and comfortable experience for overnight visitors.

No experience? No problem! We offer on-the-job training and mentorship to help you feel confident and capable in your role. We believe in promoting from within based on performance and dedication.

Qualifications

- Smart Serve Certification (required for any role serving or handling alcohol)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred for kitchen and serving roles; required for lead kitchen staff)
- Must be 18+ to serve or handle alcohol
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods (where applicable)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is an asset (training provided)
