AP Psychology, AP World History & AP European History Tutors

About Us
We are a growing academic tutoring center specializing in helping middle and high school students achieve their academic goals and succeed in advanced-level courses and standardized examinations.
We are currently looking for experienced and highly qualified AP tutors to join our team for the upcoming academic year.
We are hiring instructors for:
- AP Psychology
- AP World History: Modern
- AP European History
We are especially interested in instructors who have a strong understanding of the College Board AP curriculum and AP exam format and who can help students develop both subject mastery and effective exam strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality one-on-one and/or small-group instruction.
- Teach AP-level content in a clear, engaging, and structured way.
- Help students prepare for the AP exam and improve their overall academic performance.
- Teach AP exam strategies, including multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and free-response questions.
- Review student work and provide detailed, constructive feedback.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, practice questions, and review materials when needed.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on individual learning needs.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the academic team.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong academic background in Psychology, History, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring AP Psychology, AP World History, and/or AP European History.
- Familiarity with the current AP curriculum and College Board exam requirements.
- Strong knowledge of AP exam strategies and FRQ writing.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way.
- Professional, reliable, and responsive.
- Experience working with high school students is strongly preferred.

- Current or former AP teachers.
- Experienced AP tutors.
- Former AP exam readers or educators familiar with AP scoring.
- Graduate students or professionals with strong subject expertise and teaching experience.
- Teachers who have consistently helped students achieve strong AP exam results.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 6.0 per week
