Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in woodworking, building techniques, and construction processes, with opportunities to develop skills across multiple specialties including plan reading, concrete forming, framing, exterior finishing and more.

This role is perfect for individuals eager to purse a career in carpentry.

Responsibilities

- Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Participate in concrete forming, framing, siding, finishing under supervision
- Perform general construction tasks such as laboring, clean up and light demolition
- Help with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow in office
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project phase





Experience

- Minimum 1 year residential construction experience is required
- 1st year carpentry foundation course would be accepted as experience
- 1st or 2nd year of carpentry apprenticeship is an asset.
- Must be familiar and be able to be efficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Strong interest in carpentry, woodworking, or related trades preferred

This Carpenter Apprentice position provides valuable on-the-job training in diverse construction disciplines while fostering professional growth. Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
