Frost Works HVAC & Plumbing is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial plumbing, HVAC, gas piping, service, maintenance and installation. We are looking for a motivated plumbing apprentice who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

- Assist with commercial plumbing installations, renovations and service work
- Install and repair drainage, water distribution, fixtures and mechanical piping
- Read drawings, specifications and job instructions
- Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation
- Keep tools, vehicles and work areas clean and organized
- Follow company procedures and Manitoba safety requirements
- Work effectively with journeypersons, other trades, customers and site supervisors
- Travel to job sites in Winnipeg and surrounding communities as required

Qualifications
- Registered Manitoba plumbing apprentice or eligible to register
- All apprenticeship levels will be considered
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn




- Ability to lift materials, use ladders and work in commercial environments
- Commercial plumbing or mechanical experience is an asset
- Gas piping, boiler, hydronic or HVAC experience is an asset
- Own basic hand tools appropriate to apprenticeship level

The successful candidate will be dependable, presentable and committed to performing quality work while providing qualified service to our customers. Pay: $24.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
