Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Banquet Manager, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional event experiences through effective supervision and coordination of banquet services. You will support the Banquet Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring all banquet functions run smoothly from setup to cleanup.

Responsibilities

- Assist in managing banquet operations, including event setup, service delivery, and cleanup to ensure flawless execution.
- Supervise and motivate banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive team setting.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards; coordinate with kitchen staff on menu items and special requests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Monitor service flow during events, address guest needs promptly, and resolve any issues to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Manage POS systems s for order processing and cash handling during events; oversee billing accuracy.
- Support interviewing and onboarding of new team members; assist with training on food service protocols and hospitality standards.

Skills





- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, serving, or bartending within restaurant or hotel environments.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in food service or restaurant settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems platforms like Food industry-specific software.
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management, training, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as hotel or restaurant management is highly valued; barista experience is a plus.
