Role Description The Assistant Front Store Manager is a full time, on-site role located in Brockville, ON. This position supports the Front Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling procedures. The role involves leading and coaching front store team members, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.
The Assistant Front Store
Manager collaborates on scheduling, monitors store performance, and helps implement promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement. This role also assists in enforcing company policies,
supporting loss prevention efforts, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering friendly, professional, and timely support to all shoppers.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in Store Management, including supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, and supporting merchandising and inventory control.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to follow procedures that protect company assets and promote a safe environment.
- Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles; supervisory experience in a pharmacy or general merchandise environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; willingness to learn internal systems and processes.
- Availability to work a versatile schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
