The Oxley is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our management team.

We are looking for a career hospitality professional with several years of experience in quality, full-service restaurant environments and a résumé that demonstrates clear professional development.

Your experience should show progression: taking on greater responsibility, developing leadership skills and moving into increasingly senior roles.

This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for someone with a strong restaurant background who is ready to take the next step in their management career.

What We Are Looking For

- Several years of experience in skilled, full-service restaurants
- Previous supervisory, senior service or restaurant management experience
- A résumé demonstrating career progression and increasing responsibility
- Strong understanding of FOH operations and professional service standards
- Experience leading and supporting a team during busy services
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in food, wine and hospitality
- Professionalism, reliability and attention to detail
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and the schedule required of a full-time restaurant manager
- Post-secondary or postgraduate education in hospitality, business or a related discipline is considered an asset

The Position Working closely with the General Manager and senior management team, the Assistant Manager will take an active role in the day-to-day operation of The Oxley.





Responsibilities will include

- Leading and overseeing restaurant service
- Supporting, coaching and developing FOH staff
- Maintaining service and hospitality standards
- Guest relations and issue resolution
- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Reservations and floor management
- Supporting scheduling and staffing decisions
- Ensuring restaurant procedures and standards are consistently followed
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and management teams
- Supporting the operational and financial performance of the restaurant

This is a hands-on management position.
