As an Associate Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team and be responsible for overseeing 100+ households independently. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, managing account operations, and taking full responsibility for client satisfaction and retention.
Success in this role requires exceptional relationship management skills, sound judgment, precision, initiative, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
What will you do?
- Oversee 100+ households, taking full responsibility for relationship management and operations
- Provide comprehensive client service including regular portfolio reviews, performance monitoring, fund transfers, timely responses to client inquiries, and ongoing client engagement
- Independently handle account management activities including account opening, maintenance, transactions, and operational tasks with strong attention to detail
- Anticipate client needs and be resourceful in determining solutions that add value to clients' long-term financial goals
- Develop individual financial plans and help clients build investment portfolios based on their financial needs and objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, portfolio management) to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution
- Travel as required
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in wealth management, including client relationship management
- Reliable and proactive self-starter who takes initiative, works independently and consistently demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working effectively in collaborative team environments
- Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO (previously IIROC) or
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam

- Working on CFP; CFA, or CIM

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range The expected pay range for this position is:
$38,000.00- $60,000.00
This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:
1.5x
