We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our modern and newer dental clinic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional dental care in a welcoming environment, utilizing advanced technology and comprehensive treatment options. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital role in improving patients’ oral health and confidence while working alongside a supportive team committed to excellence.
The hours needed are Wednesday's 11am to 7pm, Thursday's 9am to 5pm and Friday's 9am to 3pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality restorative, preventive, cosmetic, and emergency dental services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Utilize dental software such as Tracker for charting, scheduling, and patient record management.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient experiences.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures using medical terminology and adhere to all safety and sterilization protocols.
- Assist with digital impressions and CAD (computer-aided design) technology for restorative procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario dental license with current credentials to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Experience working in a dental office environment with proficiency in dental software such as Tracker.
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care documentation.
- Prior experience providing pediatric dentistry services is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively and build trustful relationships.
