We are looking for one or two dedicated Optometrist(s) to work part time at our Markham location. This position will cover a maternity leave starting December 2026 until the end of August 2027. The days that are available are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays. You will have the opportunity to build a full time schedule and/or stay as a permanent part time associate at our second clinic in Richmond Hill. The start date at the Richmond Hill location is flexible.

We are located within a well-established family owned Optical in Markham. Your schedule will be busy as you are covering the schedule for our main optometrist. This is an excellent opportunity for a new grad and/or someone who is interested in a long term position. We are equipped with an EMR, iCare, imaging, visual field and topographer. We do offer axial length and myopia management services including orthokeratology.

Responsibilities





- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to our patients
- Screen and manage ocular diseases
- Prescribe and educate our patients about their eye care needs
- Collaborate with other health care professionals
- Provide specialty services such as myopia control

Anticipated start date: Dec 2026 (Markham location), versatile (Richmond Hill Location)

Requirements

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Optometrists in Ontario

Pay: $400.00-$1,500.00 per day
