- Associate Veterinarian Privately Owned, Low-Stress Handling Certified Practice - Location: Dartmouth, NS - Job Type: Full-time or Part-time - Salary: $110,000- $135,000 per year As a Low Stress Handling® Silver Certified Facility, they prioritize gentle techniques, fear-free practices, and high-quality medicine. Key Responsibilities - Deliver compassionate, comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals.

- Practice low-stress handling and gentle patient care techniques during check-ups, diagnostics, and procedures.
- Build trusting,



informative partnerships with pet parents regarding nutrition, preventative care, and treatment plans.
- Perform routine surgeries, soft-tissue procedures, and dental treatments.
- Maintain complete and accurate digital medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with our dedicated technicians and client support team.

Qualifications & Skills - Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent recognized degree.

- Licensure: Eligible for or currently holds a valid license with the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association (NSVMA).
- Experience: All experience levels are welcome to apply, including confident new graduates.
- Skills: Excellent communication, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to low-stress handling principles.
- Bilingualism (English / French) is considered a valuable asset.
