Can-Traffic is seeking a reliable Auger Truck (Digger Derrick) Operator to support installation, maintenance, and repair projects involving traffic signals, street lights, pedestrian crossovers, signage, flashing beacons, and other roadway lighting infrastructure.
As part of a 3–5 person crew, you will play a key role in delivering safe and efficient project work during the construction season. Crews operate Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Candidates must be available for periodic out-of-town assignments and night shifts.

What you will do Everyday
- Operate an auger truck (digger derrick) to support the installation and maintenance of traffic and roadway lighting infrastructure
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signals, street lighting, and other roadside systems
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators
- Perform general labour duties as required on site
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure the safety of your team and the public
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma and a minimum 1 year of Digger Derrick experience
- Valid Alberta Class 3 or 5Q Driver’s License
- 5-year Commercial Driver’s Abstract with fewer than 7 demerits
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour
