We are looking for a motivated entry-level Automotive Glass Technician Apprentice to join our team. If you are looking to break into a specialized trade where you can learn a valuable skill set from scratch, this role is built for you.
No prior auto glass experience is required - this is a ground-floor, entry-level apprenticeship. If you are starting fresh and looking to build a stable career in a skilled trade without previous experience holding you back, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Glass Services: Perform repairs and replacements on windshields and other automotive glass components.
- ADAS Calibration: Assist with and learn the calibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) following glass replacements.
- Tool Operation: Safely and efficiently utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
- Physical Tasks: Perform heavy lifting as required during glass handling and shop operations.
- Safety First:
Strictly adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous automotive or mechanical experience is an asset, but not required. We invest in training the right applicant.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic automotive knowledge.
- Work Style: Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
