Duties

- Greet customers and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, highlighting necessary services and potential upselling opportunities
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Manage the service write-up process, including documenting customer concerns, vehicle details, and estimated costs




- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently at the front desk
- Promote additional services or maintenance options that benefit the customer’s vehicle longevity and safety

Experience

- Prior auto service advisor experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with automotive service processes and customer interactions
- Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge is a strong asset, enabling effective communication about repairs and diagnostics
- Proven customer service skills to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques to recommend appropriate services confidently
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and parts to assist in explaining repairs accurately
- Cash handling experience to manage transactions securely and precisely
