Duties
- Assist senior technicians with routine automotive repairs and maintenance tasks
- Learn to diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and assembly work
- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify mechanical problems, and support troubleshooting efforts
- Perform light to heavy lifting as needed for parts and equipment handling
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support the team in vehicle assembly, disassembly, and component replacement
- Gain experience in reading schematics, performing basic welding,
and understanding automotive systems
- Contribute to customer service by ensuring quality work and timely completion of tasks
Experience
- Prior experience with automotive repair background is a requirement, looking for 2rd or 3rd year Apprentice
- Familiarity with tires and brakes, mechanical knowledge, or working with hand tools
- Experience with power tools, schematics reading, or assembly work is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on vehicles for extended periods
- Strong interest in automotive technology with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
- Excellent customer service skills are desirable for interacting with clients and team members
This position offers an engaging environment for aspiring automotive technicians eager to develop their skills. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
