Duties
- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under supervision.
- Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repair processes.
- Use welding equipment and other heavy-duty tools to help with structural repairs when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including heavy lifting and handling automotive parts.
- Read and interpret technical schematics to understand vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Any level apprenticeship is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics used in automotive work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of daily tasks.
- Strong customer service attitude, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with team members and customers.
- Willingness to learn welding techniques, maintenance procedures, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Valuable communication skills with an active interest in developing automotive repair expertise.
