Automotive Detailer – Full time

Autohouse Newmarket is looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Automotive Detailer to join our growing team.

We operate a busy used vehicle dealership, full-service automotive repair facility, and professional detailing department. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can prepare vehicles to a high professional standard.

Responsibilities

- Complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Wash, dry, and properly prepare vehicles
- Vacuum and deep-clean vehicle interiors
- Shampoo carpets, seats, and floor mats
- Clean and condition leather and interior surfaces
- Perform interior steam cleaning
- Remove stains, odors, and pet hair
- Clean wheels, tires, windows, door jambs, and engine bays
- Perform paint decontamination and preparation
- Machine polish/buff vehicles and remove minor scratches and swirl marks
- Apply wax, paint protection, and ceramic coatings
- Perform headlight restoration when required
- Prepare dealership inventory for photography, showroom display, and customer delivery
- Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and a clean work area
- Complete assigned vehicles efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards





What We’re Looking For
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
- Experience with machine polishing/buffing is a strong asset
- Ceramic coating experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence preferred
- Must be comfortable moving and parking customer and dealership vehicles
