Nurse Practitioner (Locum) - Withdrawal ManagementLocation: St. Thomas (Elgin Zone) | Schedule: Relief, Casual – days, evenings, weekends. This posting is the result of a current vacancy.We seek a Nurse Practitioner to provide addiction medical support for clients with mental illness and addiction through a harm‑reduction lens. Work interdependently with addiction counsellors, nurses, primary care providers and community health service providers to deliver client‑centered care that emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, client education, episodic primary health care, and collaboration with physicians for complex cases.WHAT WE'RE OFFERING:What you'll be making – $70.80 per hourWhen you'll work – Casual shifts, including days, evenings and weekendsYour pension plan – Immediately eligible for optional enrollment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:Maintain practice requirements, including a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class license, NP/Physician Team-oriented Practice Agreement, and malpractice insurance.Maintain confidentiality and act ethically in alignment with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).Maintain clinical competence through evidence‑based research and legislation.CWSP / Outreach & Community Partnerships & Withdrawal ManagementWork in partnership with the Community Withdrawal Support Program (CWSP), community agencies and programs.Integrate CMHA TVAMHS counselling services and support for clients.Coordinate service provision with other health care partners in developing community care plans and wrap‑around services.Provide inter‑discipline home visits for vulnerable clients or those with transportation barriers.Assist in CWSP program development aligned with best practices,
