Overview

We are seeking a energetic and customer-focused Automotive Consultant to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with a background in retail sales and automotive services. This role involves assisting customers throughout their vehicle purchasing journey, providing expert advice, and ensuring an exceptional experience. Multilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele.

The Automotive

Consultant will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the overall marketing efforts of the dealership.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and consultation
- Present vehicle options, features, and benefits tailored to customer preferences
- Manage sales transactions using POS systems and handle cash or credit payments accurately
- Assist with order fulfillment, vehicle delivery coordination, and documentation processing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, scheduling test drives, and following up post-sale
- Maintain knowledge of current automotive models, repair services, and dealership promotions




- Support marketing initiatives through outreach efforts and social media engagement
- Utilize organizational skills to manage appointments, leads, and follow-up activities efficiently
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, phone etiquette, and maintenance procedures

Experience

- Prior dealership experience or retail sales background preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, CMMS software, and Microsoft Excel is advantageous
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and maintenance practices is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and provide clear information to customers
- Experience in sales management or marketing strategies will enhance performance in this role
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and customer records management
- Demonstrated ability to handle cashiering duties, phone etiquette, and customer service responsibilities with professionalism

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
