Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while working with diverse machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep equipment running smoothly
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repair or maintenance procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to disassemble, repair, or assemble components
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical issues on automotive and industrial machinery with precision
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities involving heavy lifting or hazardous materials




- Maintain detailed service records, document repairs performed, and communicate effectively with team members and customers about work progress

Experience

- Previous dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is advantageous
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems and industrial equipment
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or industrial machinery in a maintenance or repair capacity
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to vehicle or industrial equipment is a plus
- Proven ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients or team members
