About Us

AutoTech is an independent repair shop in West Kelowna specializing in European vehicles: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and VAG Group. Our work covers advanced diagnostics, electrical and software service, engine and transmission repair, brakes and suspension, wheel alignments, A/C service, and performance work including chip tuning and ECU remapping.

The Role

We're hiring an experienced Automotive Technician who's comfortable working on European platforms. You'll handle everything from diagnostics and driveability to major repairs with the tooling and information systems to actually do the job properly.

Our shop is equipped with high-end, modern automotive equipment, including dealer-level and aftermarket diagnostic and programming tools, A/C service machines, a high-end 3D wheel alignment system, and professional tire equipment. The ideal technician is confident diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, using advanced diagnostic equipment, servicing A/C systems, and performing wheel alignments.

What You'll Do

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and driveability issues on European vehicles
- Perform repairs, scheduled maintenance, and inspections to manufacturer specification
- Use dealer-level and aftermarket scan tools for fault diagnosis, coding, and programming
- Service and repair A/C systems using shop A/C service equipment
- Perform wheel alignments on our 3D alignment system
- Document your findings and write clear repair reports for the service advisor to review with the customer
- Road test and verify repairs before release




- Keep your bay, tools, and shop equipment clean and in positive working order
- Work with the team to keep jobs moving and turnaround times honest

What We're Looking For

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification, or equivalent journeyman-level experience
- Hands-on experience with European vehicles
- Strong diagnostic ability, you can follow a problem to its root cause, not just replace parts
- Confident using advanced diagnostic and programming equipment
- Competent in A/C service and wheel alignments
- Own set of hand tools
- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean abstract
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Considered an Asset — Not Required

- Manufacturer training or dealership background (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VAG Group)
- Experience with ADAS calibration, module coding, or hybrid/EV systems
- BC Motor Vehicle Inspector designation
