Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Automotive Shop Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting our technicians and helping keep the shop clean, organized, safe, and running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable around vehicles, takes direction well, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities

- Keeping the shop, service bays, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assisting automotive technicians with various tasks as required.
- Installing, removing, moving, and organizing tires.
- Moving and organizing tires, parts, tools, and equipment.
- Assisting with general vehicle-related tasks.
- Performing shop cleanup and general maintenance.
- Helping with occasional errands and other reasonable shop-related tasks.
- Responding to requests from technicians and the Shop Manager.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Following all company safety procedures and workplace policies.
- Treating coworkers and customers with professionalism and respect.




- Performing other reasonable duties as required to support the day-to-day operation of the shop.

Qualifications

- Automotive experience is an asset but not required.
- Previous shop, warehouse, labour, or mechanical experience is an asset.
- A valid driver's licence is needed.
- Ability to safely lift and move tires, parts, and equipment.
- Robust work ethic and a willingness to learn are more important than previous automotive experience.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
