Responsibilities
- Assist licensed technicians with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support repair processes
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for vehicle servicing and parts handling
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in the shop
- Support inventory management by organizing parts and tools needed for repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients about their vehicle needs
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
Experience
- 2 years of experience or background in automotive repair is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems will be highly valued
- Basic mechanical knowledge, including understanding of engine components, brakes, and electrical systems
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in a workshop setting
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional manner
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions
- Prior exposure to automotive repairs or maintenance programs is a plus but not mandatory
