Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks across multiple provinces, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate freight loading, unloading, and securement using forklifts and other equipment
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests and shipping logs
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary, including forklifts and other loading machinery
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle reliability
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven commercial driving experience across Canada
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for large shipments
- Experience in automotive repair or troubleshooting is a strong asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, long hours on the road, and work in various weather conditions
- Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
