Key Responsibilities

Role Purpose: Lead backend service development and define standards for secure, scalable application services.

Experience

10–15+ years in backend development with 3+ years leading backend or platform teams.

Core Responsibilities

- Define backend architecture, API standards, and service design patterns.
- Lead development of scalable and secure backend services.
- Review implementations to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor backend engineers and guide technical problem solving.
- Collaborate with frontend, integration, and operations teams.

Required Skills

- Robust experience with Node.js-based backend services and REST APIs.
- Experience designing cloud-native backend systems on AWS.
- Strong experience in backend technologies, API design, and system integration.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

- API reliability, performance targets, reduced production issues.
