Part-Time Pastry Cook – CookieNana’s Bakery

CookieNana’s Bakery is looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Part time Baker/Pastry Cook to join our growing team!

We are looking for someone who already has a foundation in baking and/or professional kitchen work and is excited to contribute to a creative, fast-paced bakery environment.

About the Role

As a Bakery/ Pastry Cook, you will support day-to-day bakery production and operations. Duties may include:

- Assisting with baking, mixing, and food preparation
- Decorating and finishing baked goods and desserts
- Preparing and weighing ingredients
- Packaging and preparing customer orders
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Following recipes and production instructions accurately
- Washing dishes and completing general kitchen cleaning
- Assisting with inventory and other day-to-day bakery tasks

What We’re Looking For

Required:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen or bakery setting OR completion of relevant culinary/baking schooling
- FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently




- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Genuine interest in baking, desserts, and food production

Professional baking experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a solid kitchen or culinary foundation.
