We are a locally-run business specializes in crafting fresh, high-quality baked goods. Our bakery offers a variety of products, including bread, pastries, cookies, and other treats, often made with simple, homemade ingredients. We are focusing on creating an inviting atmosphere where customers can enjoy freshly baked items. We’re looking for a motivated Baker’s Assistant to join our passionate team and help us deliver delicious creations to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

As a Baker’s Assistant, you will support our baking team in daily operations, including:

- Preparation Support: Assist bakers with transferring finished doughs, molding breads, moving trays for bakers, and performing related tasks to ensure smooth production.
- Cleaning Duties: Clean trays, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Inventory Organization: Help organize and track inventory, ensuring ingredients and supplies are properly stored and readily available.
- End-of-Shift Cleaning: Perform sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning tasks to close out the day.
- Oven Training: Learn to operate ovens over time, with opportunities to grow into additional baking responsibilities.

Qualifications





- No prior baking experience required; we’re happy to train the right candidate!
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to listen and accept coaching from bakers to improve skills and performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, able to lift 40 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
- Availability for mornings, weekends, or versatile scheduling.
- Passion for baking and customer satisfaction is a plus!

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
