Firebat Coffee Roasters is a small, independent specialty coffee roastery and café in Burlington, ON. We source exceptional coffees directly from farmers in El Salvador, roast in small batches at our Burlington roastery, and serve them in our Coffee Lab on Harvester Road.

For us, coffee is about much more than making great drinks. It’s about knowing where the coffee comes from, understanding how it was grown and processed, and helping our customers discover what makes each coffee unique.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Barista to join our front-of-house team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a hands-on environment, develop their specialty coffee knowledge, and gain valuable customer-service and hospitality experience while working alongside a small, passionate team.

As a member of our front-of-house team, you’ll do more than prepare lattes and espresso drinks. You’ll learn about our coffees, brewing methods, and roasting process and help customers choose the right coffee for their taste and brewing style. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the different aspects of our business,



from coffee preparation and retail to customer experience and specialty coffee.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has availability to work 4hr or 7hr shifts on Saturdays, and 1-3 weekday shifts
- Has a genuine interest in coffee and is excited to learn more about specialty coffee
- Enjoys talking with people and providing friendly, thoughtful customer service
- Is curious, enthusiastic, and takes pride in doing things well
- Can work independently and take initiative
- Is comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Is reliable, responsible, and a positive team player
- Has a willingness to learn—previous specialty coffee experience is an asset, but a passion for learning is just as key
