Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our bakery, providing exceptional customer service while preparing delicious beverages and handling transactions efficiently. Your enthusiasm for food, excellent time management skills, and dedication to food safety will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process cash, credit, and mobile payments swiftly and securely.
- Handle cashing out customers, giving correct change, and managing cash handling procedures responsibly.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and serving counters.
- Follow food safety standards diligently during food handling, serving, and preparation processes.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support daily operations.

Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with barista experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Effective time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
