Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Barista/Bakery Clerk to join our team. The candidate must be available to work Sundays. There are three shifts available at our Summerhill location. If you want to work more, shifts are also available at our Queen and Carlaw location.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, crafting delicious coffee beverages and assisting with bakery product sales. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Assist customers in selecting bakery items, providing friendly and helpful service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display, work area, and equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy,



including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Support food preparation tasks such as packaging baked goods or assembling simple food items as needed.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety.

Skills

- Previous barista experience is necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Valuable time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and POS operations.
- Food Handlers Certificate preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.60-$25.00 per hour
