Bartender & Server - Business & Pleasure + Super Variety

We're looking for an experienced, energetic Bartender & Server to join our team across Business & Pleasure and Super Variety.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys variety. You'll have the opportunity to work in two very different hospitality environments: creating thoughtful guest experiences and cocktails in an intimate evening cocktail bar, while also providing effective, welcoming service in a busy daytime fast-casual sandwich shop.

About the Role

We’re a small bar with a small team, which means we rely on everyone to contribute across the business. We don’t hire people for just one role - we hire hospitality professionals who are passionate about what they do and willing to support wherever they’re needed.

At Business & Pleasure, you'll be working in an intimate, cocktail-focused environment where hospitality, attention to detail, product knowledge, and consistency are key. You'll be expected to confidently guide guests through cocktails, wine, and food while helping create a warm and memorable experience.

At Super Variety, you'll work in a fast-casual daytime environment serving sandwiches and other offerings while keeping service efficient, organized, and welcoming.

We're looking for someone who can comfortably adapt between both styles of service.

One Team - Two Businesses

While Business & Pleasure and Super Variety offer two distinct guest experiences, they operate closely together and support one another on a daily basis.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working across both businesses. Some shifts and responsibilities will naturally cross over depending on the needs of the day.





Daytime shifts at Super Variety may include helping prepare Business & Pleasure for evening service through bar prep, batching, stocking, organizing, and other prep work. During service, everyone is expected to pitch in wherever needed - behind the bar, on the floor, running food, clearing tables, greeting guests, or helping a teammate through a busy moment.

We're looking for someone who understands that we operate as one team. While you may have an assigned position or primary responsibilities during a shift, flexibility is essential. Everyone is expected to jump in, support one another, and help ensure both businesses are set up for success.

Responsibilities

Business & Pleasure - Evening Service

- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive table service
- Prepare and serve cocktails to a high standard
- Develop strong knowledge of our cocktail, wine, beer, and food programs
- Guide guests through the menu and make thoughtful recommendations
- Maintain consistency in recipes, presentation, and service standards
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and side-work responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the bar and service team during busy service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
- Help create a welcoming and memorable guest experience

Super Variety - Daytime
- Provide friendly and efficient counter and table service




- Take orders and confidently guide guests through the menu
- Serve food and beverages efficiently during busy periods
- Prepare and serve coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages
- Assist with bar prep and other daytime preparations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the space
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and daily prep
- Work closely with the kitchen and team to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and with care

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Has previous bartending and/or serving experience
- Is comfortable working in both fast-paced and detail-oriented environments
- Has a genuine interest in hospitality, cocktails, and food
- Is reliable, organized, and able to take initiative
- Is willing to jump in, lend a hand, and support wherever needed to keep service running smoothly
- Is comfortable working evenings, weekends, and some daytime shifts
- Takes pride in their work and takes ownership of the experience we create for our guests
- Is eager to learn and develop their hospitality and beverage knowledge
- Works well independently and alongside others
- Has a positive, hands-on approach and isn't afraid to get involved wherever they're needed

Cocktail knowledge and experience are considered an asset, but we also value curiosity, work ethic, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
