Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our agile hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, and efficiently managing drink orders. Must be able to work days and/or evenings and be able to make espresso, latte and cappachino as well as cocktails.

Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The position requires strong time management, food safety knowledge, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Engage with customers to create a positive and welcoming environment
- Use POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area following food safety standards
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with all food handling and safety regulations
- Assist in serving food when necessary,



supporting overall restaurant operations
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods using effective time management skills

Skills

- Proven experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and serving guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders seamlessly
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor to enhance guest interactions
