Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their learning experiences and help them achieve their academic goals. The Tutor will provide personalized instruction, and foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.
- Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Do pick ups from school.

Requirements

- Valid BC Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence is a MUST.
- Use of Personal Vehicle is a MUST.
- Clean Driver's Abstract required.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching.




- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping children succeed.
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Early Childhood Education certificate (preferred)

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
