Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will help support the financial health of our organization, providing clarity and transparency through meticulous bookkeeping practices.

Duties

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and support budgeting efforts
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management review




- Assist with payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation

Qualifications

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, AR, AP and account analysis techniques
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments
